The Tearoom
Tiny Tim's Tearoom is the only traditional English tearoom in Canterbury and offers a relaxing and luxurious 1930's atmosphere to sample the best afternoon tea in Kent while enjoying the ambience of our chandelier lit rooms. Our 1930's music will transport you back in time.
Step back in time. We aim to bring a totally unique location to the heart of Canterbury offering the best in luxury and quality. At Tiny Tim’s we offer the finest in hand made treats, all produced freshly on the premises by our master bakers and using the best local produce available… and of course, our many varieties of tea, served the way tea should be.
Afternoon Tea & Cream Tea. We offer our freshly baked scones, cakes and sandwiches served on our 3-tiered stands accompanied by a pot of tea.
Breakfast and Lunch. Our menu offers breakfast and lunch items to provide you with a nutritious meal throughout the day, from smoked salmon and scrambled eggs or porridge in the morning, to Huffkins, Puffkins, salads or soups for lunch.
Local fresh ingredients. We fully support local businesses and aim to use local produce wherever possible; giving you a unique taste of Kent’s finest offerings. Indulge yourself with our tasty cakes and scones or drop by for a light nutritious lunch, all offered with a varied and wide range of locally created teas, coffees, wines, beers and soft drinks.
Outdoor seating. As well as our 60 seat restaurant, we also have a limited number of tables in our secluded courtyard - weather permitting.
Local English wines.The only place to buy English wine in Canterbury. A new selection of English wines are now available. The finest wines from Barnsole, Chapel Down and Biddenden vineyards all based in Kent are available to take away or in-house to enjoy with your meal.
A warm welcome awaits.
